iPad stand/keyboard case
Hi, I’m about to buy myself an IPad Air m4 with an Apple Pencil Pro, and I’m trying to decide what case to get for it. I’m looking for a case with an adjustable stand to be able to use my iPad at different angles (for drawing and viewing stuff for example) aswell as a keyboard, to be able to play games that support it with keyboard and mouse, or browse around more easily etc.
If possible, I’d like to be the ‘support’ part keeping the iPad up to be detachable, so there’s a seperate case and stand so I don’t always have the flap that Is on practically all of these cases to be present at all times.
I’ve been looking around and found a couple options, all with their own advantages and disadvantages:
- The Apple Magic Keyboard. Nice, premium, official gear, but the keyboard is the case, and there is no seperate stand or protection when the iPad isn’t attached to it. Also, it’s really expensive…
- The ESR Rebound. Basically the same as the Magic Keyboard, except it’s not official or exactly premium, and there is an extra protective layer when the iPad isn’t attached (an additional detachable case), but the keyboard is the support stand, so it’s not great for ‘laying down’ the iPad at for example a 20 degree angle for drawing/writing with an Apple Pencil
- The ESR shift. Basically a better rebound for my specific ‘demands’, with a detachable keyboard and adjustable stand that allows both near-flat and more raised angles. That said, the ‘flap’ is not detachable on the shift version that also includes the keyboard as far as I’m aware.
Does anyone know another case that suits my specific ‘needs’ or will I just have to live with the flap on the shift? Thanks!
