How to use a furnace fan to cool home?

My forced air hvac unit is in a very very cool basement. how can I get it to draw air from inside that room to cool the rest of the house using just the fan? (I don’t have central air) are their any intake switches/changes on a standard hvac unit that can help achieve this?
