Never too much
A heavy laid burden as I my broken tune sings.
Words with weight of drowning, pouring the dark.
Empathic hearts feel and see the ones sinking.
Trying to save the world, all the tragedies placed.
Grabbing the hand of one pulling me up, I panic.
Don’t want them to feel what I do or see the real inside.
Concern for the storm will be too much, cuts
deep.
As I reach for their grip words of comfort touch.
“It’s ok, you’re never too much, let’s go together.”
Allow the water to no longer be consumed alone.
Fear was lifted as we came to shore, worry fades.
