Golf R...Any good in the snow?

Looking at picking up a lightly used 2025 here potentially in the next few days at a local dealer. I live in the north east and currently have a Focus ST that just does not cut it if i get caught at work and we get a few inches. Not looking to drive the car in a foot of snow or anything but if i get caught and the roads are slightly covered are these things good to go?
