Living in the end is simpler than you think

Tips & Techniques

One of the phrases that gets thrown around a lot in manifestation is “live in the end.”

People hear it and immediately think they have to feel ecstatic 24/7, never have a negative thought again, or somehow convince themselves that their desire is physically here already (acting as if etc).

But that’s not what living in the end means. Here’s the simplest way I’ve ever been able to explain it:

Imagine you’re watching a movie you’ve already seen before. Let’s take Lord of The Rings for example.

Lord of the Rings spoiler ahead…

When Gandalf stands on the bridge and shouts “You shall not pass!” before falling into the abyss, you’re not genuinely panicking that you’ve lost him forever.

Sure, it’s an emotional scene. You might even feel a little sad. But underneath all of that, there’s a deeper knowing.

You already know he’s coming back as Gandalf the White.

Because you know how the story ends, you experience the middle differently.

That’s exactly what living in the end is.

It doesn’t mean pretending nothing difficult is happening. It doesn’t mean denying your current circumstances or forcing yourself to feel happy every second of the day. It means that no matter what chapter you’re currently in, you already know where the story is going.

So when your circumstances show you something you don’t like, you don’t immediately conclude that your desire isn’t happening. You don’t assume you’ve failed. You don’t think the story is over.

You simply recognize that you’re somewhere in the middle.

Living in the end is trusting the unfolding because you’ve already decided how the story ends.

And when you truly know the ending, you naturally move through the middle differently.
