Glass pipe vs bubbler for smoking kief?

I have been smoking out a metal pipe for a few years and finally want to get a replacement piece to smoke with. I buy kief because it’s more worth it $/g than flower, but that makes me a bit more worried if the type of piece I smoke with will affect the harshness or experience.

I had a bubbler for a short period of time, though I smoked mainly with bud when I had it. I am very clumsy and ended up breaking the stem, I don’t remember how it happened but I think I knocked it over while not looking. I have never owned a glass pipe before, I’ve smoked out of them a handful of times from other people’s pipes, and two people I know had theirs break because they dropped them. That makes me question if a bubbler may be stronger. The pipe was more harsh, but I don’t know if their weed was just dry or not since my pipe wasn’t as harsh as that and it’s a cheap metal one.

Since I smoke kief I don’t know if that will change what piece may be better. The main disliked about my current pipe is that the metal gets hot, and resin and kief powder often get stuck all through the inside which makes me have to clean it or clear it out very frequently which is annoying.
