I have this entire part of the galaxy to myself.
There's only one way in and out and I have a strong best friend at that opening and a fallen empire blocking the other way. The trade off is there are few habitable worlds and doing anything is a slog. I was minmaxing into being scientists but we're so impoverished I have to be carried hard by my ally. A grand dragon wiped out a relic world that would've been good for research. There's a gaia world within reach that no one else can get, but it's guarded by a giant crystal shard fleet which I'll never able to threaten for like over 100 years.
