HDR and VSync question

I play on consoles (both PS5 and Series S) but there's something i want to fully understand.

For what i know, Vsync is an instant NO. It causes input lag and screen tearing isn't all that bad. .. but what about HDR? It's postprocessing and i am aware it can cause it but not as noticeable.

So should i turn it off too? Both in game and in TV?
