Z getting two pilots makes Zero sense

Dylan has been Z’s pilot for years, built a incredibly strong connection, especially in the time frame between when he was 8 to him being 14 (im pretty sure thats the canon age for dylan in DH no?) so anyway, thats 6 years of dylan being besties with Z, they fought crime together, and dylan has spent a LONGG time with z. and all that gets broken because some 8 year old went on a joy ride with Z? that makes no sense!
