Mystery books similar to John Sandford

Looking for some mystery / thriller books to gift to my grandmother. She LOVES all John Sandford books and already has every one, she also liked The Housemaid by Freida McFadden, and she did used to read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.

I read romance and that is NOT her thing so I'm totally lost here. Would appreciate some good reccomendations.

Thank you 🩷
