I just started digital art earlier this week and I was really really proud of this one. Its so exciting to post art and have OC next to it x3

This is my Shadow Monk, Ayvren Viridis a former Samurai who was brought into a "special program" for "gifted initiates".

She is a half elf/half tiefling Drya'boli. I told my partner/dm that I wanted to play a government assassin type character for Elven nobles. I had never played a monk before and I was on a massive Brush Burial kick at the time so a fast grappler type was just destined to be made.

Shes an emotionless assassin who unknowingly had their life stolen from them and replaced with the will of the Lumiphage family. Imbued with their experimental void magics she commands shadows around her to tie loose ends the nobility encounter and is rewarded with medication to keep the void within her stabilized.

The games been great. Lots of learning to feel again through another player whom she had a close friendship with before she was taken into this program. For whatever reason, though she cant explain it or remember why she cares for him she goes out of her way to make sure hes protected. And after being framed for a murder he didnt commit of a former scientist that experimented on Ayvren, in the midst of trying to learn the truth to prove her friends innocence she's beginning to question which feelings are stronger, loyalty to the city or to her friend.

In one of the most recent game we discovered that the original Ayvren was cloned and a portion of her soul was split and put into the cloned body. WHICH IS WHY THE ONE IM PLAYING AS IS SO NUMB AND HAS TO MEDICATE. To literally keep her physical form together. I wrote a character... and this whole time I havent even been playing as them, Im a fucking clone. Gods I love her writing and I hope you guys like my art :3

I finally got into digital art, and drew my Shadow Monk Drya'boli [Art] [OC]
