Leopard gecko hasn’t eaten in a month.
I have a Leo named Grumbo (female).
She’s never once laid an infertile egg or appeared gravid in the 4 years I’ve had her, so I’m thinking maybe this summer it’s time? And that’s why she hasn’t eaten in a month?
There’s been no recent change in her environment or tank temps, I’ve tried using a flashlight and looking at her abdomen and she doesn’t appear to be gravid, just a lil chubby. Her tail was plump in June but has since gotten marginally smaller as I assume she’s using fat stores to sustain herself.
She hasn’t eaten since early June. Refuses all food, not “lethargic” as she’s still seen climbing around late at night. Is it breeding behavior? Could she be sick?
No sign of any illness whatsoever. Her vent looks normal and clean. Tail isn’t sunken or very small. Eyes are clear and unclouded. She’s never had stuck shed ever. Mouth is clean, no sores.
I’m at a loss.
