For context: I played Diablo as a young lad on my parents Dell computer along with Starcraft BW. I loved both of them. I never got a chance to play D2, and my only other experience has been with the latest season of D4. I LOVE arpgs though, and have played GrimDawn, POE1 and 2, Last Epoch, Titan Quest etc..Last Epoch is still my favorite overall, or I guess should say was :(

What should I know going into D2 Resurrected? I'm going in blind as of now, but is the game a better experience if I knew some mechanics/seasonal stuff beforehand?

1. What about player agency in creating builds that are viable without guides?
2. What do you think is the most fun class to play if I enjoy both melee and ranged classes, but have a leaning towards higher APM builds?

• By higher APM, I mean that I like more buttons to push but with the context that each one is actually mandatory for the build to fully be online, where missing a certain skill or part of your rotation is detrimental to your DPS. (It just keeps my brain focused on more things than one, which I enjoy)
