Handling exam anxiety early
It shows up in July when someone's syllabus is done and yours isn't. In August when a mock score falls.
.
To help manage anxiety, try naming your emotions as they pop up, handle the panic and face the fears with courage. I recall the quote "All Izz Well" as it teaches that the human heart is easily frightened, so reassuring it even when things are chaotic provides the mental strength required to endure hardships.
.
Also don’t treat your mocks as a life sentence. Your score might drop but remember your hard work always counts.
.
The more mocks we take, the less scary taking them becomes. So, no worries!
.
Talk to someone. Just one friend who gets it. Anxiety dies when you talk about it, no matter what.
.
Remember, you are much more than this exam. CAT is just a chapter of our life, not the entire story. So start dealing with your nerves right now and by November you will be calmer walking into that exam hall.
