Mold on used furniture

I got a used drawer that is solid wood except the back and bottom are particle board. When I took the drawers out to clean it I notice dried out blue mold all over the particle board bottom and some on the bottom of the particle board back. I cleaned it off with vinegar. Is that sufficient cleaning for me to start using the drawer (I haven't had moisture problems in my house) or should I paint over the particle board with Kilz or something or should I remove the particle board since it won't be visible with the drawer against my wall anyway? Thanks
