The first image is the flag of the city of Descate and of the Kingdom of Descate.

The second image is a map, the map of the city of Oxas. The name of the district is in French, but the trad is

Quartier des sages: District of the Sages

Quartier nord: Northern District

Quartier sud: South District

Quartier des invités: Guest quarters

Quartier royal: District of King

It is important to understand that Oxas and the League will be philosophically opposed; they will represent the two poles of this universe. It is a case of a monarchy pitted against—not a true democracy, but rather a polyarchy. The opposition will be multifaceted yet highly nuanced, as neither model is "pure" or archetypal. The primary goal is to allow for the development of the consequences arising from various actions, choices, and stances.
In fact, I conceived the lore for Oxas this way: the city itself is a polyarchy—as previously explained—and is technically independent, yet it holds sway over surrounding towns that depend on it, somewhat like a league but with a different dynamic. Some of these settlements seek protection, while others serve as a link between Oxas and the rest of the continent’s mainland—essentially acting as a buffer zone. At the helm of this arrangement, one of the Sages—a member of the city's aristocracy and a natural-born leader—manages to establish himself as a powerful lord over these lesser towns and communities. To their inhabitants, he embodies the authority of Oxas. This figure eventually has himself proclaimed King of Oxas; however, he does not control the city itself—where he actually resides—as it remains a polyarchy governed collectively by the Sages. Nevertheless, the King rules over the surrounding populations. In a sense, two powers, two states, and two governments coexist within the same city.
It must be understood that a rivalry persists: the king naturally seeks to gain the upper hand over the sages, yet the city's populace and the sages themselves refuse to yield. It should be added that this city was never captured; it is reputed to be impregnable. In a sense, the king is a prisoner within his own city, unable to leave to muster his troops and then return, for no one enters the city without its consent—which is to say, the consent of the sages. A form of stalemate thus exists.
An important point regarding Oxas is that these two intertwined structures actually form a single, unified state. The populations of the Kingdom of Oxas depend economically on its port, while the city itself relies on the tribute paid by those populations.
