Dating issues

Hi everyone, I consider myself a fairly good looking guy with some decent qualities. Have been married to a great woman previously. Some women seem to find me attractive and I get some dates with women online. Major issue is that I can’t seem to get past the first date. Had some (what I thought were great) first dates where there was even kissing and then got ghosted or called a nice guy but no chemistry after. This left me scratching my head and thinking what I’ve done wrong when I feel I couldn’t have done any more on each date. Think it could be that I gave too much interest early on, but have also had a relationship last year where we kissed on the first date. Any advice or similar experience anyone?
