My beliefs regarding Hinduism
Don't know if I'm a believer or not but i believe if there's any truth/ something like consciousness, only Hinduism can take me there. This is the closest I got.
Like, in some slokas there's written that we can't totally know, nobody knows who's behind all these, at least not with our human consciousness. And i guess that's why our Rishis or Sadhaks started worshipping natural elements as Gods which keep us alive (Surya dev, Indra dev, Varun dev, dharti mata, agni deva, mata ganga). Totally makes sense.
Then in advaita concept we get to see, everything is one true consciousness, atom theory aligns with this concept.
According to the 1st law of thermodynamics, energy doesn’t vanish or it can't be destroyed, it somehow comes back to the nature in different forms. And thinking soul as some kinda energy, it perfectly aligns with the theory of rebirth.
You can question everything here don't have to believe blindly, like Upanishads are literally question answering. Sri Krishna also stood against Gods and asked people to worship gobardhan instead because it helps the village in many ways which symbolizes you can stand against tradtional beliefs which don't make sense. (Although we're not giving it enough attention)
Then the Ahimsa philosophy, like the God isn’t just ours, he created everything so we don't have the rights to k*ll animals.
Women are respected, there are many goddesses in Hinduism who represent different powers. Even some wars couldn’t be fought without Goddesses. Even lord vishnu had to transform into a feminine figure to win against Asuras. We have rishikas as authors of the Vedas. Even in Mahabharata and Ramayana feminine figures had important roles. They had to sacrifice a lot.
Then cow is very respected, which has been very kind to humans through civilizations, probably the key source of wealth and non-harming animal also.
Art plays prominent role in Hinduism, even Lord Shiva is called Nataraaj. Shri Krishna had Basuri, Mata Saraswati has vina. We have Sham Veda.
Then it’s also shown in Mahabharata and Ramayana that when you fight with evil you have to become wise and play like them.
There are message through verses,
like atithi deva vaba, vasudaiva kutumbakam, karmanye Vadhikaraste one which tells us we have rights only to perform our actions , then another one, like the truth is One but sages call Him by many names.
5 factors behind every action concept:
Adhishtanam (The Body),
Karta (The Doer),
Karanam (The Instruments),
Cheshta (The Effort),
Daivam (The Divine)
Which literally shows we just can control some part of it. So don't worry if anything goes wrong, you're not solly responsible for it.
Nothing is forced in this religion, even in Bhagavad Gita Krishna let's arjuna to choose after educating him with divine knowledge. (bg 18.63)
May this this knowledge never be lost.
(Sorry for messy writing as i don't really write
And thank you)
