Husqvarna YTA24V48 blades not starting

Recently bought a preowned husqvarna yta24v48, went to mow the lawn this morning got the blades running and forgot to switch the gear to reverse before backing up, the blades turned off and now won’t start up every time I pull the pto/ptu whatever it’s called it makes a sound like air escaping in a quick burst (like when you get the wind knocked out of you but louder) the engine still starts and everything else seems to be working any tips would be greatly appreciated
