tips on making the bot lead the story foward?

i have this little issue that i cant seem to fix. during a scenario/event, after going on for a while, it seems to reach a dead point where there isn't much to do or say anymore. Does anyone have prompts or something similar to make the bot lead the story? Like progressing the story into a new scenario with something that aligns smoothly with the current narrative, without having to force the bot to do it myself? i've tried some community prompts, but they seem to switch the scenario or generate events at EVERY response, kinda making it hard to properly enjoy and settle each scenario. i'd like something that could help the bot understand when its time to move on.

might sound like a strange request, but i feel like it could add a lot in the current rp im doing, thanks in advance! :)
