8 Weeks pregnant and finally feeling safe.

Question

Trigger Warning *mentions of miscarriage*

I definitely worried about miscarriage A LOT until about 7 weeks. Which I feel like wouldn't even had been a worry of mine had I not doom scrolled the Internet and saw HORROR STORIES and had a best friend who had suffered two miscarriages before her rainbow baby. But now that I'm 8 weeks (though truly I felt in the clear at 7) I feel good about my pregnancy, and can say with confidence that I'll be having a baby.

I guess the purpose of this post is to ask who else only became weary or scared of miscarriage (and I mean truly scared) due to other people? I feel like I can't be the only one who became terrified of the possibility only after having spoken to others and reading stories.

Additionally, does anyone else feel safe during the first trimester? When I tell people (the few that know I'm pregnant) they make me feel weird that I feel good about the pregnancy.
