Changing goal from NEET TO JEE

12th grader PCB. I decided to switch to JEE (Will do PCMB via NIOS next year and online coaching) but 1 year time does not look adequate to get admission into NIT/IIT. So, should I double drop and target a top NIT as there are only 2 attempts for advanced ?
