About to get my first gaming PC and don’t know where to start

I’ve decided to get out of the apple walled garden, and the first step is replacing my MacBook Pro with a gaming pc. Looking for advice on what I should get. I want to be able to play Steam and XBOX PC Gamepass games. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Located in the US and trying to keep it under 5k if possible. Will probably get 32 or 64 gb of memory and a 1 or 2 tb ssd if that matters.
