🚨💔 KIKO GOT A REPRIEVE — BUT HE IS back on the list 💔🚨
Kiko was supposed to die.
His name was placed on BARC’s euthanasia list two weeks ago, but somehow \\\*\\\*Kiko has been given something incredibly precious — a little more time.\\\*\\\*
Not a home.
Not a foster.
Not safety.
Just a little more time.
Now he is back on the list again 😢😭

Kiko has been at BARC since \\\*\\\*May 31st\\\*\\\* — an unusually long time for this shelter.
A volunteer who spent time with him describes a dog who is:
✨ Sweet, gentle, and affectionate
✨ Walks nicely on leash
✨ Takes treats gently
✨ Ignores other dogs while walking by
✨ Loves attention and being with people
✨ Keeps wagging his tail despite everything
As the days have turned into weeks, Kiko has begun showing signs of kennel stress. That’s not surprising.
Imagine spending every day confined to a kennel, watching people walk past while hoping someone finally chooses you.
Kiko isn’t a bad dog.
He’s a young, friendly boy who desperately needs out.
💔 Tonight he’s sleeping in a kennel.
He doesn’t know he was almost euthanized.
He doesn’t know he was given extra time.
He only knows that every day people walk past his kennel, and he keeps hoping one of them will stop.
⏰ \\\*\\\*Kiko urgently needs a foster, adopter, or rescue commitment before the July 6th. This is his last chance.\\\*\\\*
