What should I be doing..

New player here, just started about a month ago. No idea what Im doing or what I should be doing. So far I've unlocked most biomes and am just completing quests but is there a best way to play. My adhd doesn't allow me to read through the dialogue for the most part im just clicking through. I kinda just want to have all the best tools so I can access every part of the board.. any tips.
