Short term experiences on Abilify

My teen is just starting low dose 2mg Abilify with Zoloft and ADHD meds. Abilify kinda addresses all that could be gong in with her - anxiety, depression, bipolar, irritability with autism who knows which one. Dr says stay on it for like a year while getting intense therapy and then can come off of it. Can anyone share experiences if they were able to maintain a stable life after Abilify? Does it help balance the brain chemicals long term in any way for some?
