k1c cfsc unit not detecting?

Hi yall, my partner doesn't use reddit so im here to ask for some help in his place. he got a creality k1c printer for christmas. for his birthday he got some accessory things and currently he says the printer isnt detecting the accessory kit, his words "the purge coordinate settings are not displaying"

i can ask him more questions if yall have any but would love to get this fixed. hes new to 3d printing. he has a buffer cutter that came with the cfsc unit
