LinkedIn Certificates Sorting Issue: Why are my certifications ordered by “added date” instead of issue date?
In Linkedin I'm seeing certificate A is standing on top of B while A is issued in Dec 2025 and B issued in Jul 2026 none will expire the order is seemingly only based when I add them I have tested adding a 2003 certificate it will go on top of the list...
anyway to change the order to issue date instead of date that has been added to linkedin?
if not wish Linkedin actually add a option for quick re-order and sort cuz' man can't do that by deleting and adding (I'm lazy)
p.s:
I already know that For the "Licenses & Certifications" section, LinkedIn's display order can be influenced by:
- The order in which you added the items (very common behavior).
- Whether a credential expires or is marked as "No expiration."
- Occasionally, LinkedIn's own ranking logic, which is based on the date that has been added to Linkedin
