Blue yeti mic and iphone connection

I make asmr videos and got a blue yeti mic from a friend. No matter what setup I have for the mic and my iPhone, my phone still will not use the yeti mic when I record. When I plug in another condenser mic it records perfectly fine I've tried using an adapter to charge my phone and plug in the USB for the mic into my phone at the same time to "power" the mic I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a fix for it, I really want to use the yeti mic!! Thank you
