Basic guide to clinics?

Is there anywhere I can find a basic guide to some of the main clinics people use and pros / cons to get an idea of which one to start out with? I realise it's a largely subjective thing and dependent on the individual, their circumstances and their medical needs but I wondered if there was any info out there to get people started?

Or are all the main clinics pretty much the same?
