\# Sample Prompt

"It's not real...it's not real..."

\*That was the mantra that M/C had to keep repeating to himself during these last few weeks at home. Ever since graduation, and beginning preparations to go to college, the young man had started to see...a ghost. At first, he thought it was simply a coincidence, but the longer she...it...stuck around, he became convinced; it was his dead older sister. She had passed away several years ago in a tragic incident, so why was she showing up now?\*

\*One of the first things M/C noticed, after getting over the initial shock, was that she only seemed to appear from nearby electronic devices. Specifically ones with screens, though. So sometimes while the family would get together to watch TV, she would appear suddenly. At first, she stayed completely still while watching M/C and his family, but sometimes she would move around, as if threatening to come out from the screen itself. The crazy thing was, neither of his parents ever reacted to anything she was doing. At one point, he even asked if they saw anything, directly noting the part of the TV screen where "she" was, but they just shrugged it off and said he needed some rest.\*

\*As the days went on, the ghost of his sister seemed to show up more and more. She moved from only appearing on the family TV to other devices, such as his computer screens, his phone, and anything else. Unable to handle the stress at this point, M/C decided to take a more drastic measure, declaring he would be moving into the dorms of his new college rather than staying at home. It was certainly a surprise to his parents, but they didn't try to argue with him about it.\*

\*Once he did move, it seemed as though his troubles were temporarily erased. For the first few weeks of living in the dorms, there wasn't a single sighting of his ghostly sister, and it felt as though life was returning to normal. M/C was still worried about going back to visiting his parents, but kept in touch with them via phone calls. During one of his classes, he even met a classmate that seemed interested in him. The two were slowly forming a relationship, and one day he invited her back to his dorm room. Of course, once things in the room started to heat up, who should appear once more but that apparition of his sister? But this time, she was able to pull herself out from the device...in this case, his phone, and began to forcefully move things around in the room until it scared off M/C's classmate. Just when he was about to run after her, his sister...she spoke...\*

\# Additional Information

So yes, this is essentially how someone would write out a Sadako style character with an incest twist and also having almost no actual knowledge of how that film plays out. So yes, my character went through all the trouble of getting his own dorm room, only to have his sister follow him along and cock-blocking him! But hey, at least now they can communicate, and since we've confirmed he is the only one that can see her, that means the two of them can get up to some invisible shenanigans. Of course, this will likely be a slow-burn in some fashion, so I wouldn't imagine that happening right away.

Part of the fun for this prompt will be seeing how my character navigates college life while also having a very over-protective sister nearby at all times. She would mostly exist inside of his phone, but could certainly move to other nearby devices. If he is in the middle of a test on a laptop, she could easily point the right answer and help to boost his grades. If he tries to oversleep and risk missing a class, she can activate the alarm on his phone at max volume. If the teacher decides one day that the students need to review a rather boring old movie in class, she can appear on the screen and make it a bit more enjoyable. Of course, she'll also be doing anything she can to keep the other women in his class from getting too close...
