Moving with a snail

Hi yall! So in August I’m moving in a dorm and I want to bring my zebra nerite with me. Thing is the dorm is a 6h drive away from where I’m currently living so I was wondering if anyone has some tips on how to transport my snail. Like do I put it in a mason jar or a plastic container? And do I just throw the plants in water?
