Is Tiki armor still as good as everyone said over the years, or did the updades changed that ?

So I'm currently right after beating Plantera for the first time (yay) and I can buy the Tiki armor.

Everyone online puts it right there in S tier.

But, with the updades, is it still good ?

The Chlorophyte armor with the helmet gives you minions, more defense, and an additionnal shooting minion that goes through blocks. Why would Tiki be better than that ?

BTW, I'm currently dying a lot to bosses. So even if for example it's because Tiki gives a bit more damage to my minions, like 20 %, I still prefer an option that will help more keeping me alive while they work.
