Trans, but denied the right to be themselves"

So, I kinda just need to vent. I'm a trans guy — well, technically agender, but I go by he/him and that feels right. And honestly, that would be fine, except I live in a country where changing your legal gender is literally illegal. Like, not possible. At all.

Whatever, I could deal with that — I mean, I could always move, right? Except even that's a whole thing, and it's probably not gonna happen for another year or two at best. But the real kicker? I can't even come out. Not to my family, not to anyone. Social transition is out of the question. My family would probably cut me off, people would be weird about it, I'd get bullied, probably lose my job too. So that's fun.

All I can do right now is keep my hair short and wear a binder that lowkey makes me feel like I'm dying sometimes. I tried tape too, but it doesn't work for me — just itchy and painful, no thanks.

So yeah. I'm really hoping I can get out of here someday and somehow not lose my family in the process. But if that doesn't happen... I guess I'll just have to pretend to be a cis girl for the rest of my life. Cool, right? 😀
