Help me understand how the Rolling Thunder Revue (2019) and Ronaldo & Clara fit

Ive yet to watch either film in their entirety. I have seen performances from Rolling Thunder Revue, and a few of the documentary/“story” scenes. However, I want to know how exactly these two films complement/differ. Does Rolling Thunder Revue (2019) supersede R&C, or do the films have two different goals? Does watching both of them offer two unique perspectives/experiences, or should I just watch one of them?

I recently ordered RTR (2019) on Bluray on the Criterion sale and am excited to watch it all the way. But, I was unaware R&C even existed (though now it makes much more sense that they had all of that footage from the 70s used in RTR).
