How was your first experience in a MRI?
I just did a MRI yesterday and I have to say it was one of the worse exams I ever did. I say that because I’m anxious, afraid of needles (had to use contrast), almost fainted, cried a lot and am kind of claustrophobic. Funny enough the only thing that kept me sane without wanting to cry or start moving myself (I tend to move my legs and hands nonstop in a same movement I think tend to anxiety) was the loud noise in the MRI. They said it was bad, but for me it was great, because I could associate each “rhythm” with a song to sing in my head, and principally to count the seconds when I held my breath. It was really hard for me but I was thinking about what other people did during MRIs to stay calm, what did you?
