Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a side project I've been working on: a Football League & Knockout Pool Calculator. It's a dynamic points calculator and tournament manager built to make tracking custom leagues and prediction pools as easy and visually appealing as possible.

Use Cases - What is this for?

· Gaming Sessions: Perfect for keeping track of your FIFA/EA FC tournaments or World Cup mode when you have a group of friends over. No more relying on a messy whiteboard or Excel sheet.

· Local Leagues: Great for managing local 5-a-side, school, or corporate football tournaments.

· Office Pools/Predictions: Ideal for organizing friendly betting pools or tracking group stage predictions during major tournaments like the Euros or World Cup.

Key Features:

· Flexible League Mode: Add any number of teams and configure custom match legs for round-robin play.

· Auto-Updating Standings: Automatically calculates points, goal difference (GD), and goals for (GF) in real-time as you enter match scores.

· Dynamic Knockout Bracket: Choose to have the top 2, 4, or 8 teams automatically qualify for a visual knockout bracket with editable scores.

· Premium Visuals: Features " Finalist" highlighting with a green glow, a stadium background, sleek glassmorphism UI, and smooth animations.

· Persistent Data: Everything is saved locally via localStorage, so you won't lose your tournament progress if you accidentally refresh the page.

The Tech Stack:

· React (Vite)

· Tailwind CSS (for the styling and glass effects)

· Framer Motion (for smooth micro-animations)

I’m looking to gather some feedback! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the UI/UX, or if there are any specific features (like tracking penalty shootouts, away goal rules, or group stage templates) you think would make it better.

Cheers!

(The text was created by AI since it will be easier to articulate and read for others. This is me now. So i just did it as a use for my college tournament and it did help us. And so I'm just simply trying to extend it a bit , it is prety niche and not many people would use it for real, well i just wanted to something like as a fun and it looks cool since ... like i created it. So yeah i feel pretty good about and it's vibe coded as you might know from the UI.😅 And i hope You guys try to pick out stuff or just tell me some changes i can give to make it better. I tried using adsense and didn't work and i don't know why but .. oh well. Let it just be like this ig)
