Facebook Group Canadian Citizen by Descent (C3) Update

The remaining mods want to provide a brief update regarding the group.

The group’s founder was recently doxed following the circulation of a video that we believe was intended as deadpan humor but was interpreted by some as encouraging people to move to Canada to collect welfare benefits. That message does not reflect our views or the purpose of this community.

Our immediate priority is preserving everything that has been built within the C-3 Canada group. We are backing up the group’s resources while also working to have control of the existing group transferred to the current moderation team. If that is not possible, we are prepared to establish a new group so that the information, resources, and community can continue.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this process. We apologize for the confusion and disruption, and we will keep everyone updated as we know more. Thank you for your continued support.
