I built a small free Mac app called **Did I Copy It?** because I have a dumb habit of hitting Cmd+C a few times.

[App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/6784293008).

**Problem:** macOS gives zero feedback when you copy. If you're the type who compulsively re-copies to be sure, there's no native way to confirm it worked without opening something and hitting paste.

**Comparison:** Clipboard managers like PastePal, Maccy, or Raycast solve "I need to find what I copied earlier" but they don't solve the immediate "did it actually copy?" anxiety. This app specifically targets that one moment. It doesn't read or store clipboard contents at all - it just watches the clipboard change count. That means zero Accessibility or Input Monitoring permissions needed.

**Pricing:** free, no IAPs.

Other details:

* Sits in the menu bar, stays quiet on the first copy and if you copy again within a short window, it shows a confirmation message
* Messages escalate if you keep re-copying
* Mute-able per app
* Customizable messages (including import/export), sounds, position, timing, animation

I'm trying to figure out whether this should stay as a tiny joke utility or if there's something more useful hiding inside it. Blunt feedback very welcome.
