"The Deadliest Lifeform in the Universe Loves Me" gets real lovey-dovey with the newest volume.
Hey everyone, author of Deadliest Lifeform here, and if you haven't checked out my series yet, as a fan of male-centered romance stories, now is the time.
My series has a large focus on action, adventure, and world-building, but we're slowing things down with a return to Earth where the main focus for the newest volume will be romance and developing character relationships. Perfect for the romance enthusiast.
The story involves a simple human male who discovers a small, fragile alien in the woods behind his home back on Earth. Initially, he takes care of the little creature in secret, but before long, the Earth government tries to intervene, and then an intergalactic Empire gets involved, putting our poor hero in situations he's woefully unprepared for, but he quickly finds out the danger is much closer than he first thought as the deadliest lifeform in the universe falls in love with him.
The MC is Adam Samson, a regular human. The FMC is Eve, a cosmic horror, eldritch abomination female who develops an unhealthy attachment to Adam, becoming wildly obsessive and possessive (classic Yandere arch-type). Adam starts off quite powerless, while Eve possesses impossible, extradimensional strength and magic, which she uses to protect Adam during their adventures, and during their romance for lots of outrageous fetish fun, including shapeshifting, duplication/cloning, size-alteration, exhibitionism, mind-reading, tentacle-play, and much more. It's not all sex of course, as there's a rich universe to explore as Adam and Eve go on adventures together to hunt down the other cosmic horrors known as the "Predazoans", Eve's sisters.
Story Focus 5/5: This isn't just a romance series, there's a huge world to explore and discover. If you were looking for some quick smut, this story might be a little too much for you. However, if you're looking for a lot of story and character development mixed in with your romance, this series will be perfect for you.
Romance Focus 5/5: While the sci-fi adventures drive the plot forward, the romance between Adam and Eve is absolutely central and a huge motivator for everything they do. Aside from the spice, there's lots of character/relationship development, including sweet, affectionate scenes that get almost excessively lovey-dovey at points, where we discover if a human can truly love his alien monster.
Spice/weirdness 10/5: I'm not going to lie to you, it gets weird, like really weird. If you just wanted a sexy alien babe messing around with a human, this might go beyond your comfort zone. When your soulmate is an immortal, extradimensional shapeshifter with an insatiable sex-drive, you can pretty much assume things are going to get outrageous. If you're willing to explore more fantastical kinks, and aren't afraid to test your own boundaries, this is definitely the right story for you.
I started this series as an exercise to improve my craft when I hit a roadblock with traditional publishing while working on a high-fantasy novel, but I ended up falling in love with the world I've created, the characters, and yes, the outrageous romance and sex between a human and his Outsider god soulmate. Any support would be greatly appreciated, even just giving it a quick glance to see if you'd enjoy it.
