Quick question for creators / affiliate marketers

I’m currently setting up an affiliate program for a new platform and looking to connect with creators or community builders who already monetize their content through referrals or partnerships.
Right now I’m trying to understand what makes affiliate offers actually worth it for creators beyond just “commission on signups.”
So I’m opening this up to anyone experienced in affiliate marketing or content monetization:

• What kind of offers do you usually respond to?
• Do you prefer recurring commissions, flat payouts, or hybrids?
• What makes you trust a new platform enough to promote it?

If you’re open to it, I’m also looking for a small group of early affiliates as we roll this out, but I’m mainly interested in learning what works best for creators before scaling it.
