Lost all my friends because of my own ignorance…

I recently I saw a story about how discord’s ai moderation was false banning people, so I figured I should go to the servers i’m in and warn people.

Turns out the story was fake and now everybody thinks i’m a complete dumbass.

I’ve since left all the communities i’m in, and i’m now going to spend a few months creating an entirely new online persona, which hopefully nobody will recognize so I can eventually rejoin them.

It’s been years since i’ve done something this dumb, and I thought I was beyond making this sort of mistake. Loosing everything sucks, but I survived it before and i’ll survive it this time.

I just really hate myself right now…
