How to start a YouTube channel?

So I'm going in clg in a month and I want to start a YouTube channel ( not type of college where you can milk the tag)

I would first start as where I'd talk about different things related to student's lives clg etc.. I would eventually fighre out my forte. But I still want to start the experimenting phase

If anyone of you have a experience please guide me and tell me the things I need and to keep in mind.

Also I've decided not to tell/ share my channel with any friends or groups etc. I want it to grow organically if it grows
