It is now legal to vandalize AI Data centers.

Under a new executive order issued by Donald Trump, U.S. data centers powering artificial intelligence became public property as of July 6, 2026. No legal framework has yet been established regarding actions that, if committed on the premises, would otherwise be classified as vandalism; this has created a legal gray area akin to the status of international waters. Furthermore, police have been ordered to protect individuals engaging in any activities at these data centers from protesters whom Donald Trump himself described as "AI-obsessed nutjobs."
