I built an automatic, camera-based jump rope counter for Android. Need testers!
Hey Everyone,
I built Hop — an Android app that uses your phone's front camera to automatically count your jump rope reps in real-time.
- 🔒 100% Private: Camera input is processed entirely in real-time on your phone. We do not store, record, or upload any video.
- 🔊 Audio Feedback: Plays a "ping" sound on every jump so you don't have to look at the screen.
- 📊 Stats & Advanced Insights: Tracks your reps, real-time RPM, and even metrics like jump height.
- 🔥 Fitness Tracking: Monitor calories burned, log your weight, and track your weight loss and performance trends over time.
The app is currently in internal testing and I'd love to get your feedback on how the tracking and insights feel.
