Can Enneagram 3 be lazy?

Typed as SX2 for a while, but I've looked into 3 recently - specifically SX3 - and found that I resonated with it quite a bit more than 2. I've found that I subconsciously warp my persona and image to accomodate others instinctively. I try appearing as an ideal to whatever would impress the other – be it in a skill, a role, or as a friend... I simply pursue positions, 'labels' if you will to try thriving within and attracting praise for.

However I am fucking lazy 😭 I have little work ethic if it's not something I'm immensely interested in, or not something I'm doing to try appearing impressive towards a person of interest. The idea of persistent, dedicated effort to reach a stagnant goal is confusing to me as I struggle to trace the objective physical input it takes to get there if that makes sense?
