Advice for New Food Industry Tech
Hey all, I recently went to trade school for industrial maintenance and I’ll be done with the program this fall. I currently work in machine assembly and build panels.
I’m interviewing at a very small food manufacturing facility where I’ll be doing maintenance on candy making equipment and general maintenance around the office and facility.
I feel confident in my abilities but at the same time I’m very nervous. This is a candy & chocolate facility where I come from an industrial machine building environment. I was very honest in my first interview about my experience and they liked me so far.
Was wondering if any of y’all, especially the food manufacturing mechanics; have some advice for me. what to plan for, special tools to get or things I should be focused on.
Thank you
