why is P3 Reload getting roasted?

I have seen a lot of people online saying P3R isn’t worth it. The more I see people praise P4 Revival I see people trashing Reload. I believe they were mainly speaking on cutscenes being different, and WIT being lazy. Honestly I am too worried about spoilers to read in depth.

Is the criticism valid? I am really enjoying demo but don’t want to be disappointed later in game.
