Manchester UK, 05/07/26. The inevitable XL bully attack.

I've always been concerned that it's only a matter of time until I have my own story of one of these hideous monsters. Last night, my partner and I were walking our small dog in the city center, we walked past 2 men who had an unleashed XL bully with them. The bully charged at our dog, attempted to bite her round the neck to rag her. Luckily my partner lifted our dog off the ground with her lead while he used his leg to block the bully dog. The owners, predictably, trotted out the excuses "he got out of that gap" "i don't even live here" no concern or apologies, just deflection. The owner then turned verbally aggressive after I challenged him on why his dog was unleashed and unmuzzled.

I did manage to make a police report, I have no idea if that will achieve anything but there needs to be records of these incidents. I hope one day the world will be free of the plague of pit bulls. I hate them so much.
