As a new player arcade mode feels impossible

Is this game mode designed to even be realistic? I'm on the second difficulty and I am getting 2 v 1 on the smallest map possible, I have no guard UI and every heavy they hit me with stumbles me even out of revenge and the bots respawn. It feels like the skill curve is impossible
